Terms of use
Who these terms are with
These terms are an agreement between you and [CHECK: exact legal name and legal form — believed to be "Wardo Circular Fashion", India], registered at [CHECK: registered address] ("Wardo", "we", "us"). By using this website, joining the waitlist or using the Wardo app, you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
The waitlist
Joining the waitlist is free. It tells us you'd like to hear about the beta; it doesn't guarantee a place in it. You can leave the waitlist at any time by writing to [CHECK: contact email].
The app is in beta
The Wardo app is new. Features may change, pause or be removed while we learn what works, and things may sometimes break. Please keep your own copies of anything that matters to you.
Free and Pro
The free tier keeps your wardrobe on your phone. Pro syncs your wardrobe to our cloud so you can share with friends, use AI features and use Wardo on the web. If you turn Pro off, we delete the cloud copy, and your wardrobe stays on your phone.
[CHECK: Pro price, billing period, whether it is billed through the Apple App Store, free trial terms, and the refund route]
Your photos and your wardrobe
Your photos and wardrobe stay yours. You give us permission to store, process and display them only as needed to run the features you use: for example, syncing them on Pro, tagging them with AI, or showing a piece to the people you choose to share it with. Only upload photos you have the right to use.
AI features
Tags and outfit ideas come from AI and can be wrong. Check anything that matters before you rely on it.
Passing things on
Wardo helps you offer clothes to family, then friends, then neighbours. Any handover is between you and the other person: you are responsible for describing a piece honestly and for arranging how it changes hands. Wardo is not a party to that exchange. [CHECK: whether any payment, delivery or marketplace role is involved]
Darzis and makers
Darzis and makers on Wardo work for themselves, not for Wardo. When you ask for a piece to be fixed or restyled, the job is agreed between you and the darzi or maker, including price, timing and care of the garment. [CHECK: how jobs are paid, whether Wardo takes a fee or commission, and who is responsible if a garment is lost or damaged]
Fair use
Please don't use Wardo to break the law, upload anything that isn't yours to share, harass anyone, or interfere with the service or other people's use of it. We may suspend or close an account that does.
Ending things
You can stop using Wardo at any time. Deleting the app removes your on-phone wardrobe and face data (a backup in your own iCloud stays under your control); turning off Pro deletes your cloud copy. [CHECK: how to delete an account from inside the app, as the App Store requires] We may end or change the service with reasonable notice.
Our responsibility
We work hard to make Wardo reliable, but we provide it "as is", especially during the beta. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to [CHECK: liability cap]. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that the law says cannot be limited.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by [CHECK: governing law, and which courts or city handle disputes]. Before going to court, please write to us so we can try to sort it out.
Changes and contact
If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top and tell you in the app or by email before a significant change takes effect. Questions: [CHECK: contact email].
